I understand the immense courage it takes to engage in vulnerable counselling work.
Throughout my life, I assumed a caretaker role in my family, striving to prove my worth and belonging through self-sacrifice. This journey led me to overlook my own emotional needs and question my deservingness of meaningful relationships without overextending myself. It’s been a transformative experience in therapy to realize that everyone, myself included, deserve support, imperfections and all. Sharing my authentic self has shown me the power of vulnerability and the joy of receiving support.

Over the last twenty years, I have been exploring wellness in different ways. What started out as an attempt to understand suffering has evolved into a path of becoming present. To simplify, my lens overall could be “what is keeping us from- what best brings us to- and what allows us to enjoy the present moment”.
My personal exploration led me to my formal training and education. I achieved a certificate from Finding Freedom and the RE-ACT program, focusing on addiction and complex trauma. During my ten year career as a flight attendant I served a substantial range of people globally. Five of those years, I held a role in the ‘cabin crew recovery team’ where I worked with the effects of trauma and addiction certain groups of employees were experiencing. I am now a proud graduate of Rhodes Wellness College where I received my Professional Counsellor Diploma.
My education includes:
-Mental Health
-Physical Wellness/ Somatic Therapy
-(T)trauma/CPTSD
-Addiction
-Treatment Planning
-Clinical Structure and Group Facilitation
